⭐ In 312 AD, Constantine marched toward Rome carrying a vision — the Chi-Rho, the first two letters of “Christ” in Greek, blazoned on his soldiers’ shields. They crossed the Milvian Bridge, defeated Maxentius, and changed the Roman world forever. The following year, Constantine issued the Edict of Milan, opening the Empire to Christianity for the first time. This coin was struck at Trier roughly twenty years into that transformed Empire, celebrating the army that made it all possible.

The two-standard variety, issued only from 330–335 AD, is the earlier and more sought-after of the two GLORIA EXERCITVS issues. Obverse portrait present with readable legend.
