Atelier Rullit field coil full range speakers AERO 10 FC Telefunken coils + PSU

Here’s another offer from Atelier Rullit: A pair of AERO 10 field coil full range speakers - a must-have for the reproduction of unplugged instruments, as played in acoustic jazz or whatever kind of chamber music, and the reproduction of the human voice in opera or musical. In that construction we have used pre war original Telefunken field coils, highly matched - two pieces from approx. 40. They are suitable to play in open back cabinets, open baffles and front loaded horns. In a 2-way combination they are fine for all kinds of music including rock and full sized orchestras. Here are some technical facts:

The outside diameter is 250 mm, 7.3 ohms voice coils, 1.7 kohms field coils (high matched original Telefunken),

160 VDC max, Fs 40Hz free air, 32Hz on a front loaded horn. The weight is 4.8kg each.

To add a few more thoughts on this matter, I would suggest to compare a ferrit magnet to mere tap water, an AlNiCo to the kind of premium mountain water being offered in supermarkets, whereas field coil represents the water you take directly from its origin somewhere in the woods - refreshing and rich in taste. Just close your eyes and try to imagine their undoubtedly different qualities.
