For sale, a Sony PRS-505 ebook reader. A nice example of upper-end ebook reader design from the early 2010's, with a fetching metal construction. The battery in this ebook reader has been replaced with a brand-new 680mAh battery.

The lower plastic fascia has a crack running down the middle, which is reflected in the price. Replacing this part is not terribly difficult, and involves removing three small philips screws. Far less dangerous than a full disassembly. This would be done at the buyer's own risk.

All buttons are working, the SD card slot is working, and the screen is in great cosmetic condition and is undamaged. The Sony Memory Stick slot has not been tested. The headphone port has not been tested.

A USB A to mini-B cable is included, and transferring files/charging has been tested as working. However I would suggest you purchase a cheap PSP-1000 charger (the kind with USB-A on one side, and USB-mini-B + DC jack on the other). Said cables can charge the PRS-505 via the barrel port at twice the speed.

No case is provided with this unit.
