I am offering a courage medal that has been poorly cleaned. I have not touched the condtion as the purpose for me is getting awards researched.

On October 29, 1943, in the area of the "Revolution" state farm (sovkhos), at the moment of an enemy counterattack, he replaced his platoon commander who had been put out of action. Without losing a single minute, and while under heavy artillery fire, he organized observation of the enemy and established uninterrupted communication between the Command Post (CP) and the firing positions. He personally went out with a telephone set and repaired the lines, which significantly helped to repel the enemy's counterattack.
