Zeiss Contarex Super with Planar 50mm f2 BLACK 2 backs, half leather case, spool, instruction.
Please wait the pictures are big. Up for auction is a Contarex Super with the famous black Planar 50mm f2. It's one of the most sought-after models in the Contarex family of cameras, the splendid 35mm SLRs produced by Zeiss Ikon. The camera is in excellent aesthetic condition, considering they were intended more for professionals than amateur photographers, and this example is in excellent condition (see photo). It also functions excellently; the shutter releases smoothly at all speeds, even slow speeds sound perfect to my ear. The light meter doesn't work; it needs to be fixed. The lens is a wonderful Planar 50mm f2 in perfect condition. The lenses are clear and clean, with no scratches or marks, no fungus inside, no detachment between the lenses, no haze or stains. Focusing is smooth and precise. The diaphragm is precise and has no oil on the blades. Definitely a perfect addition to a fine Zeiss collection. There are two small marks on the case back; see photo number 6 with the red lines. The lot includes the original Zeiss leather half-case from the period with its strap, a black interchangeable back in excellent condition complete with volutes, plus the camera's chrome back, the original Zeiss spool, and the original instructions. Not to be missed.

E' uno dei modelli più ricercato della famiglia delle fotocamere Contarex, le splendide reflex 35mm prodotte dalla Zeiss Ikon. Ottime le condizioni estetiche della macchina, considerando che erano destinate più a professionisti a che ai fotoamatori, questo esemplare è in ottime condizioni (vedi foto). Anche il funzionamento è ottimo, l'otturatore scatta regolarmente su tutte le velocità, anche le velocità lente sono perfette al mio orecchio. L'esposimetro non funziona devi farlo aggiustare. L'ottica è un meraviglioso Planar 50mm f2 in perfette condizioni, le lenti sono chiare e pulite, no graffi o segni, no funghi al suo interno, no distaccamento tra le lenti, no foschia o macchie. Messa a fuoco morbida e precisa. Il diaframma è preciso e non ha olio sulle lamelle. Decisamente una macchina adattissima ad una bella collezione Zeiss. Ci sono nel fondello due piccoli piccoli segni, guarda la foto numero 6 con le linee rosse. Nel lotto è compreso la mezza borsa originale Zeiss in cuoio dell'epoca con la sua cinghia, un dorso intercambiabile nero in ottime condizioni completo di volee, più quello cromato della fotocamera, il rocchetto originale Zeiss e le istruzioni originali. Da non perdere.
