Type 80 RCA Globe UX-280 Engraved Base Square Foil Getter Rectifier Tube Rare

This is a very rare tube

This is an early engraved base late 20s to early 30s RCA type UX-280 full wave rectifier tube.

This is a very rare variant with vertically mounted, extra large square foil, getter.

The fact that this has a foil getter shows that this is an early production of this variant likely from the late 20s or very early 30s and this has a true engraved base as well

This tube has been fully tested and it’s free of any leaks, shorts, or quality/emissions issues.

I tested this on the Jackson Hickok style 103 tester where the minimum good reading for this tube is 25 and the average new Old stock reading is 38 to 40.

This tube tested at just at 40 on the first line and exactly at 41 on the second line.

This tube has above average NOS strength and very exceptional balance

This Tube does not have a box but I will ship it in a replacement box
