Step back into the mid-19th century with this faithful non-firing replica of the Enfield 1860 Musketoon, a weapon that played a significant role during the American Civil War. The Enfield line of rifled muskets, originally produced in Britain, was one of the most widely imported arms of the conflict. Both Union and Confederate soldiers carried them, prized for their accuracy, reliability, and solid craftsmanship.
The Musketoon version was a shorter, handier adaptation of the full-length rifle, intended for artillery units, cavalry, and naval forces where space was limited but firepower was still essential. With its compact 24″ barrel and reduced overall length, the musketoon was easier to handle on horseback, aboard ships, and in close quarters while retaining the look and feel of the longer rifles carried by infantry.
