Yes, I do need help in any identification that will help anybody finding this piece of history. It is very old, greatly age colored, stained, rips mainly to pull out pages. The wooden leather covered boards are no longer connected to the body. The metal closures are mostly present. It is missing one of the 'lock' clasps and connectors. It seems to me to be a bible too? Was government and religion combined? It does have a page of Family Records - handwritten, with the earliest noted / recorded birth dated 1806. Please see the pictures as I am unsure of the correct verbal descriptions for this incredible piece. I am unsure of the date - if you have a way of letting me know where to find /decipher it, please email, any help is much appreciated.
