Item Description
⭐ A ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF MUSIC HISTORY ⭐
This is not a reproduction, not a replica, and not a mass-produced "stage-worn" claim with vague backing — this is THE fedora, with an unbroken paper trail from the moment Michael Jackson personally handed it to his dresser, through its sale at one of the world's most respected entertainment memorabilia auction houses, Julien's Auctions.
There is only ONE of this specific hat in existence. Once it's gone, there will never be another opportunity to own this exact piece — the actual fedora Michael Jackson wore during what is widely regarded as his final major full-scale stage performance, just seven years before his passing.
Michael Jackson memorabilia with this level of documented, auction-house-verified provenance rarely comes to market. Julien's Auctions has sold his personal items for extraordinary sums — his white glove alone realized $420,000, and the jacket from "Thriller" sold for $1,800,000. Items with this caliber of authentication are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially outside of major auction events.
Serious collectors and MJ historians: this is your chance to own a piece of the King of Pop's legacy, backed by paperwork that leaves no doubt about its authenticity and history.
Don't miss this — once sold, it's gone for good.Michael Jackson Stage-Worn Fedora — Apollo Theater, 2002
A black felt fedora worn by Michael Jackson during his performance at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York, on April 24, 2002, for the benefit concert "A Night at the Apollo" (part of the "Every Vote Counts" campaign, hosted by Bill Clinton).
According to the accompanying notarized letter, Michael Jackson personally handed this fedora to Prudence G. Demmler, who was working backstage as a dresser that evening, at the end of the show.
This hat was later sold as Lot 940 in Julien's Auctions' "Sports Legends and Music Icons" auction on June 24, 2012 (pre-sale estimate: $6,000–$8,000). Julien's Auctions is a world-renowned memorabilia auction house that has handled items from Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, and many other iconic figures — including Michael Jackson's own white glove ($420,000) and the jacket from his "Thriller" music video ($1,800,000).
"Michael Jackson" is embossed in gold on the interior hatband. Interior tag: 100% wool, size Medium, Made in USA.

Demmler (original owner), certified by a New York State Notary Public- Original Julien's Auctions "Lot 940" item card- Julien's Auctions lot tag and envelope
