This 8LP box set contains Beethoven's complete symphonies, from Symphony No. 1 through Symphony No. 9 "Choral,"
conducted by the legendary Wilhelm Furtwängler.

These are historic recordings made during Furtwängler's lifetime and are presented in their original MONO format (not stereo).
A particular highlight is the legendary 1951 Bayreuth Festival live performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 "Choral," widely regarded as one of the greatest interpretations ever recorded.
