Up for sale is a classic piece of post-war photography history: a vintage Exakta VX 35mm SLR camera body, manufactured by Ihagee Dresden in Germany.

Known for its distinct trapezoidal shape, left-handed shutter release design, and exceptional mechanical look, the Exakta VX is a landmark camera system highly prized by vintage collectors and display enthusiasts.

This specific body comes equipped with the highly sought-after removable pop-up waist-level viewfinder hood, allowing you to look straight down into the finder to compose a shot.

Cosmetics: The camera body shows honest, moderate cosmetic wear, surface dust, and minor aging to the metal finish and leatherette wrapping. There is typical paint/chrome wear along the chassis edges
