상품 설명
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-repaired vintage denim western shirt, heavily inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi—finding beauty in imperfection—and the art of Kintsugi. While the original tags have been removed, the snap configuration, pocket shape and denim grain suggest a vintage Lee base.
This piece has been intentionally distressed and artfully reconstructed, transforming a classic workwear staple into a wearable piece of textile art.
• Kintsugi-Inspired Sashiko: Features meticulous hand-stitching and patching throughout. Notable repairs include a vibrant red "pop" patch on the chest pocket and a blue patterned bandana collar inlay.
• Textural Contrast: Deep indigo denim overlays have been added to the western yokes, creating a striking "shadow" effect against the sun-faded base.
• Deconstructed Finish: The hem and cuffs feature raw, frayed edges for a lived-in, avant-garde silhouette.
• Hardware: Original pearlized snap buttons on the placket and cuffs (one pocket features a mismatched metal snap, adding to the curated, asymmetrical charm), Lee iconic “cat’s eye” neck button.
• Artisanal Patches: Visible bandana-print underlays and tonal denim patches are secured with contrast "rice grain" stitching.
This shirt is in reconstructed vintage condition. No any inner tags are there, but some elements suggest this is vintage Lee. Please note that the distressing, fraying, and visible repairs are intentional parts of the design. The denim is soft and broken-in, offering the perfect drape that only comes with age.
• Size: Fits approximately like a XL (Please see measurements below).
• Material: 100% Cotton Denim.
Approximate Measurements (Laid Flat):
• Chest (Pit to Pit): 24”
• Length (Shoulder to Hem): 30”
• Sleeves (Shoulder to Cuff): 24.5”
Shoulders : 20.5”
This is not a mass-produced garment. It is a labor-intensive project meant for those who appreciate the history of vintage denim and the unique character of hand-worked repairs.
