Compatibility Notes

• 35mm Nikon Film: Full-aperture metering on bodies that support Ai coupling (e.g., F2A/F2AS, F3–F6, FM/FE series). Older F/F2 Photomic can meter if a meter-coupling prong is present; otherwise use stop-down.
• Nikon DSLRs (F-mount): Mounts on most models. Metering available on bodies that accept Non-CPU lens data (e.g., D700/D750/D780/D8xx/D6 series) in A/M modes. Entry models (D3xxx/D5xxx) generally do not meter—use M mode.
• Nikon Z (mirrorless): Works via FTZ/FTZ II adapter as manual-focus; in-body metering and IBIS (if available) can be used.
