Vintage 1950s Grommes Hi Fidelity LJ-6 6V6 Tube Amplifier - SHOWN WORKING *READ*

They will be pulled using gloves, and will be labeled as to exactly where they were pulled from so they can be placed back in their original locations.

About This Unit. This unit appears to be an LJ-6 monoblock tube amp with phono pre-amp from the 1950s. Interestingly this appears to be slightly different than the seemingly more common LJ-2. The main differences being LJ-6 has an extra transformer and extra capacitor coming out of the top (I'm not exactly sure what difference this makes). The unit also has a phono pre-amp, which seems to not be the case for the LJ-2 units. Along with having just more overall inputs in general. The only reason I know it's an LJ-6 is thanks to a picture I found of a random vintage catalogue on ebay (see final photo) (I DO NOT have this catalogue in my possession, and it is NOT included with the item).

Tested Working: The unit powers on and mostly works perfectly as intended from what I can tell. I initially brough the unit up to power on a variac with a light bulb tester and all the tubes lit up and looked great. Unit outputs clean audio over it's single channel, and all pots/knobs were cleaned with Deoxit D5 and lubed with Deoxit F5. The volume and treble pots work without issues.

Issue: I didn't notice any chance to sound when adjusting the bass pot, I'm not sure if pot needs to be completely replaced or not, but unit still output normal sound to my ear, so I'm guessing the pot is stuck in the "flat" position. 

Physical Condition: Unit isn't in the best physical condition, with plenty of minor rust marks and scratches, but the unit also doesn't have any particularly major damage and is intact in one piece. (see photos)
