Here for sale we have a PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN 7-String Electric Guitar in Holcomb Burst finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top, a Mahogany body, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include PRS Designed Tuners, a PRS Plate Style bridge, Black hardware, and a set of Mark Holcomb Signature Seymour Duncan humbuckers, the 'Alpha' in the neck and the 'Omega' in the bridge.

The ‘Wide Thin' profile neck offers a quick and easy playing experience, feeling wide enough to give comfortable string spacing, but thin enough depth wise so as not to feel overbearing, giving ergonomic thumb positioning. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its 20” radius offers a nice balance between modern playing styles and practicality for string bending. The Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid playing experience whilst also enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The double cutaway body design provides unobstructed access to the higher frets whilst the generous body carves provide comfort in both seating and standing positions.

The pair of Mark Holcomb signature Seymour Duncan passive humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver articulate and precise tones, with a high output for producing saturated distortion sounds. The Alpha in the neck is aggressive whilst retaining plenty of clarity and brightness for accurate sounding low-end riffing. The Omega in the bridge is rounder, with all of the power required to drive your solos and lead lines to the front of the mix. Handling incredible amounts of gain with ease, these pickups are equally adept at clean sounds, with a glassy crystalline sound on offer with subtler amp settings. The inclusion of a push/pull coil split is a welcome addition that offers single-coil style tones without having to change guitars.
