RESTORED Nintendo Game Boy DMG with LCD SCREEN- %11 LARGER! -Glass Lens & Shell

Re-live the late 80's with this completely restored and modified Game Boy DMG! It looks, plays, and feels the exact same way it did more than 40 years ago, but with a major upgrade. A NEW LCD Screen.

Inside the Console:

This console has been repaired and parts prone to failure have been replaced. The system has been thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, fixed and restored to how it originally would have functioned when it was new. Additionally, a new LCD IPS screen and speaker have been installed.

LCD Screen: 11% Larger than the original with 35 different colors! The IPS LCD screen that is installed allows for gameplay in all lighting conditions while simultaneously improving visual game quality. You can also adjust contrast and color settings by using the functions on the "Contrast button" Holding the contrast button allows access to configure colors, contrast, and brightness. 

Outside the Console:

·         The Shell

In our effort to truly make this console appear and feel the same way it did when it was new, we have replaced the old exterior plastic shell with a new aftermarket shell. This way your console will arrive completely void of scratches, discolorations, dirt, grime, gunk, dust, and any kind of residue. Like the original, we will install a model sticker on the back of console. Please keep in mind that the color of the console seen on your screen may variate from what you see in person.

·         Glass screen lens

This lens sits on top of the screen protecting it against damage. This part is not original to the console but looks and feels exactly the same as the original plastic lens. We changed this part to guarantee that the console looks new while adding a premium hard glass feel to the screen of the Gameboy. The Gameboy will come with a temporary screen protector.  

·        Buttons, On/Off Switch, and D-pad.

Like the plastic shell exterior, we add new buttons, power switches, and silicon button pads. This ensures that your games aren't hindered by button issues while simultaneously giving a nice tactile feel to button pressing.

• ALL I SEE IS A BLACK BOX ON MY Gameboy SCREEN?! This issue can be solved by inserting a game cartridge into your Gameboy console. To see the Nintendo logo on your screen, you must first insert a working game into your console.

• Why aren't my games working in my Gameboy? A very common issue with technology from this era is corrosion and grime. The bottom connectors of your game cartridge(s) are perfect examples of this. To ensure that your cartridge is functional with the console, we recommend cleaning your games before inserting them into the console. To do so, vigorously wipe the bottom connector of your game cartridge with a Q-Tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol. This ensures proper connection between the game and the game console. 
  

• My Gameboy has a red battery light shining where the front screen is. Is this bad? The front battery light of your game boy console is intended to be on ONLY when your console is on, and you have the proper batteries installed. Your console is working as intended if the light is on.
