상품설명
The Mitsubishi A6M5 is one of the most prolific fighters from the early years of World War II. The Navy Pattern 0 Fighter had no official name. The number 0 indicates the end of the year 2600 according to the Japanese calendar in which the aircraft was designed. Thanks to this got the popular British term "Zero". The plane was designed by engineer Jirō Horikoshi in 1940 to the order of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The model was constantly modified during the war. The plane was characterised by high speed and manoeuvrability. These features were achieved at the cost of armor and self-sealing fuel tanks. The Zero was armed with two 20 mm calibre guns and two 77 mm machine guns synchronised with a propeller. The plane could also take two 30 or 60 kg bombs. In the case of the Kamikaze suicide missions, the aircraft could have taken two 250 kg bombs. No additional fuel tank was installed that time. Throughout the war, the Mitsubishi were fighters for the Japanese Navy. At the end of the war, the planes were used in kamikaze formations. From the world of COBI comes a highly detailed kit of the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero. The model includes up to 280 bricks and one pilot figure. The plane features a movable propeller and ailerons. Its rotating wheels with rubber tyres can be put in take-off or landing position. The cabin can be opened to put the pilot at the helm. Using high quality prints to reproduce the markings on the plane this model will really please those builders who like detail in their kits. The high quality of this kit means that the prints do not wear after time or with play from little one’s hands. The kit also comes with a fantastic stand and plate with the name of the aircraft. This set is a must for your collection and will suit construction, historical or plane fans alike. Assembling this kit is not only a great way to spend time with a loved ones or family members. It is also an opportunity to learn about historical themes.
